Portrait of Aurea Gerard

“Cultivating donor relationships along with helping our donors meet their philanthropic goals are the pieces I enjoy most about my job as a philanthropic advisor.”

Aurea is here to assist our donors with their philanthropic needs and to help them reach their philanthropic goals.

Aurea joined the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundations in 2012 and brought with her a wealth of experience in the nonprofit sector, especially in the areas of project management and development.

She is also a committed volunteer, lending her skills as a certified Reiki Master to Pathways Healthcare Crisis Center, and serving as board vice chair of OneYoga and as a board member at large for Minnesota Network of Hospice & Palliative Care. Aurea studied at the University of Saint Thomas and holds an associate and bachelor's degree in business administration.

In addition to helping donors, Aurea loves traveling with her family. Other passions include reading and writing poetry and short stories.
