The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation Promotes Anne Hoyt Taff to Vice President of Partnerships.

The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation today announced that Anne Hoyt Taff has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Partnerships. Anne previously served as the Foundation’s Associate Vice President of Community Impact, a position she held since February of 2019. She joined the Foundation, Minnesota’s largest community foundation, in 2016.
Throughout her seven years with the Foundation, Anne’s leadership has shepherded many partnerships and initiatives, including the Foundation’s Community Affiliate Program, East Metro Main Street Economic Revitalization Program, Partnership for ConnectedMN, the Philando Castile Peace Garden and many more.
Additionally, she has provided critical leadership to partner foundations F. R. Bigelow Foundation and Mardag Foundation and partnered with the boards on governance, strategic planning and special events.
In this highly collaborative role, Anne will serve as a Foundation lead for key community partnerships and will work closely with colleagues across the Foundation. The VP of Partnerships is a new role at the Foundation and will lead strategy, governance, board engagement and program work for F. R. Bigelow Foundation and Mardag Foundation.
“This new position underscores our belief in the power of relationships. As a statewide community foundation, forging and maintaining strong partnerships is central to the way in which we approach our work. Anne has a community-first mentality, which has informed the success of several critical initiatives, including most recently the East Metro Main Street Economic Revitalization Program,” said Nadege Souvenir, chief operating officer of the Foundation.
“I believe that the important collaboration between the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation and our partner foundations, Mardag Foundation and F. R. Bigelow Foundation, will continue to deepen under Anne’s increased purview,” added Eric J. Jolly, Ph.D., president & CEO of the Foundation.
Anne says she’s excited and honored to continue collaborating with her coworkers and the community in her new role.
“This new opportunity will allow me to grow the Foundation’s support of community-led work,” said Anne. “I’m eager to partner with our partner foundation boards to build their visions for the future through grantmaking, governance and impact investing.”
Anne holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Macalester College and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. She serves as a strategic partner to organizations, teams and communities and seeks to ground her work in equity and justice.
