Creating a Lifetime Gift
You’re finalizing your estate plans, including confirming your beneficiary designations and bequests, and now you’re wondering what comes next. Does your executor know where to find all your passwords? Do they know how to cancel your electricity service or magazine subscriptions? Do they have access to all those photos you have saved in the Cloud?
In this special North Star Society event, attendees learned practical tips and guidance for ensuring that successors are able to honor your legacy by executing your plans in accordance with your wishes, while also closing out the other elements of your lives.
Creator and facilitator of A Lifetime Gift™, Shelly Halverson, shared insight from her research and certification as a Celebrant, as well as personal experience, about ways you can be proactive in your end-of-life planning.

Equity Inside Out
Though the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation has long advocated for equity, the racial reckoning of 2020 lifted these issues to the forefront. If you have not been steeped in this work, it may feel like a new language or foreign territory. Join Eric J. Jolly, Ph.D., president & CEO, and Nadege Souvenir, senior vice president of Operations & Learning, as they have a conversation about equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
Attend the webinar and learn a little bit about EDI, from key terminology to personal experiences to resources for more learning. We will also answer some common donor questions and share some of the Foundation's racial equity work.
