Paul SnyderBoard Vice Chair, Managing Partner, KPMG LLP (retired)
“I love the pride the people of Minnesota have in our state, its communities and its people. Over the years the state has gone through significant change in its ethnicity while continuing to retain the great sense of concern we have for our neighbor’s well-being. It is an admirable characteristic we should never lose.”
Paul is retired from KPMG LLP, where he provided accounting and auditing services to its clients. During his 39-year tenure, Paul served the organization in various leadership capacities: He was managing partner of the Chicago and Minneapolis offices and later managed the entire Midwest area. He was also a member of the KPMG U.S. board of directors. Currently, Paul serves on the board of directors for Securian Group and Christopher & Banks Corp.
In his volunteer work, Paul lends his finance and governance expertise to Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundations and other community initiatives. Additional board memberships include YMCA of Minneapolis and Stone Canyon Community Foundation. He also serves as a life trustee of the Chicago Historical Society.
Paul has a bachelor’s in business from Eastern Illinois University. He and his wife, Kathy, have three children and three grandchildren.
