Katie Hae Leo builds strong partnerships with donors to help them advance their philanthropic priorities and make a meaningful impact on the causes most important to them. With a B.A. in English from DePauw University and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Minnesota, Katie brings over a decade of experience working in nonprofits spanning the arts, social services and social justice. Having lived and worked in different areas of the country, she believes Minnesota is unique in its philanthropic vitality and richness.
Katie serves on the boards of Theater Mu and TaikoArts Midwest. She also mentors other development professionals of color, seeking to build capacity and broaden opportunities for people who are early in their careers. Katie lives in Saint Paul with her husband and two pandemic kittens. Outside of work, she loves to get outside whenever possible, whether biking, cross country skiing or paddle boarding.
