Luther Ranheim

Gift Planner

“I welcome the opportunity to grow our philanthropic community by engaging professional advisors, donors and nonprofits and facilitating conversations and actions that will ripple across our state.”

Luther Ranheim connects with professional advisors, providing essential philanthropic resources to clients and helping community members reach their charitable giving goals. He also partners with nonprofit organizations, assisting them with planned giving and endowment opportunities. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Luther brings his love of the Twin Cities to his professional experience in his role as gift planner. Luther combines his early career knowledge in banking, with former positions at Wells Fargo Private Client Services and Bremer Bank, with experience in nonprofit development at MacPhail Center for Music, Greater Twin Cities United Way, the Minnesota Orchestra and the Alzheimer’s Association to effectively guide advisors and their clients in establishing philanthropic and legacy giving plans.

Luther is a proud graduate of Lawrence University and currently serves on the boards of the American Composers Forum and the Westminster Town Hall Forum. Outside of work, Luther and his wife Michelle love to support the Twin Cities’ wonderfully varied arts community, attending as many concerts and events as possible. With their dog Dagmar, a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, rounding out their family, they love cheering on Minnesota United, traveling far and wide and spending time with family.
