Community Partnerships

We invest in community-led solutions by identifying, funding and advocating for promising ideas that build capacity and magnify impact.

We believe those living in a community are best placed to identify the solutions to any challenges they face. We are proud to support agents and agencies of change across the state of Minnesota.

Community Initiatives

We take an active role in many community initiatives that make the East Metro and Minnesota better for all who call them home. We partner with organizations spanning various sectors to lead on sweeping change across the state and respond to emerging needs.

Grantmaking

We are honored to invest in and partner with the agents and agencies of change who are working daily to address our most pressing issues. We support nonprofits through a variety of grant programs to strengthen and expand their work.

East Metro Pulse

East Metro Pulse is a biennial survey and report that measures community vitality in the Twin Cities East Metro.

Program Related Investments

PRIs have a social and capital return, as they provide below-market-rate loans to organizations that might not have access to traditional financing.

These community investments provide a modest return, allowing the Foundation to reinvest dollars and giving our donors a unique opportunity to invest in the community.

Statewide Affiliates

We support local, volunteer-led community foundations across the state of Minnesota. Every year, these foundations grant thousands of dollars into their local communities.
